This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Scaibihn Trëg̈g̈.
Jĭě Yan Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jĭě Yan Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Jĭě Yan Birěkhka is buildings are located arround a single narrow gravel mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Jĭě Yan Birěkhka has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Jĭě Yan Birěkhka ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Jĭě Yan Birěkhka is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. Points of Interest
Jĭě Yan Birěkhka has been cursed with some blight that makes life difficult, albeit not impossible. An offended sorcerer's vengeful Working, an outraged god's wrath, a local distortion of the Legacy, or a simple history of bad feng shui in the area may have brought the curse about. I(devise not only the curse, but the reason why the locals haven't left for better lands).
Jĭě Yan Birěkhka has a substantial mill pond located a short distance from town.
